Amy Reichert: The Optimist’s Guide to Letting Go

Join us at The Presque Isle Community Center for a free book talk with Amy Reichert at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.  Prior to the talk, The Friends of the Presque Isle Community Library will host a reception at 5:30 featuring food and drinks of Wisconsin and inspired from The Coincidence of Coconut Cake and Amy’s other books.

Amy E. Reichert, author of THE COINCIDENCE OF COCONUT CAKE, LUCK, LOVE & LEMON PIE, THE SIMPLICITY OF CIDER, and THE OPTIMIST’S GUIDE TO LETTING GO, loves to write stories that end well with characters you’d invite to dinner. A wife, mom, amateur chef, Fix-It Mistress, a volunteer baby snuggler, and cider enthusiast, she earned her MA in English Literature and serves on her library’s board of directors. She’s a member of Tall Poppy Writers.  Amy is a lifelong Cheesehead (aka, born and raised Wisconsinite), loves to cook and is delightful.

Amy will be talking about all of her books including her new book, The Optimist’s Guide to Letting Go, a mother daughter story set in Wauwatosa. Following the talk, Amy will be answering questions from the audience.
